Patient comfort and ease of use were the top priorities when developing the Dräger disposable ComfortStar® anesthesia mask portfolio.

Patient comfort is supported by teardrop or round-shaped masks and adjustable (inflatable) mask cushion which provide anatomical fit with effective seal. Built-in ridges (sizes 4 – 6) and a flexible mask body provide healthcare professionals an easy and comfortable grip.

ComfortStar® scented anesthesia masks have the same excellent benefits of the ComfortStar® standard masks, but in addition, they have added aromas.

The appropriate color scheme provides optical stimulation and is intended to reduce pre-operative anxiety in patients.

All masks are pre-equipped with, ‘Traffic Light’ colored hook rings. They are color coded for easier size identification.

Smaller sizes (0 – 1) have reddish color
Mid-sizes (2 – 3) yellowish color
Large sizes (4 – 6) greenish color

All ComfortStar® masks are compatible with all Dräger anesthesia devices.

Pumpball as well as different headgears for fixation are available (cf. accessories for anesthesia masks).
